Today we based our activities on our current exhibition at the University Galleries called Common Ground: Artists in the Everglades. Students were shown images of the artists who had responded to their experience in the Everglades via photography, paintings and drawing. Next, students mapped out Belle Glade together, and chose a place in town that they thought was unique and wanted to portray in a painting.
